What is Moissanite? 
Moissanite is a gemstone that is composed of silicon carbide. It is known for its exceptional brilliance and fire, making it a beautiful alternative to diamonds.

How does moissanite compare to cubic zirconia and diamonds?
1. Brilliance: Moissanite has the highest brilliance (refractive index 2.65-2.69), giving it a more intense sparkle than diamonds (2.42) and cubic zirconia (2.15-2.18).
2. Fire: Moissanite also has the most fire (dispersion 0.104), exhibiting more rainbow flashes of light, making it more vibrant than diamonds (0.044) or CZ (0.058-0.066).
3. Hardness: On the Mohs scale, diamonds are the hardest (10), followed by moissanite (9.25), and then CZ (8-8.5). Both Moissanite and diamonds are very hard gemstones making them scratch-resistant, hence, suitable for everyday wear.

Will moissanite lose its sparkle over time?
No, moissanite retains its brilliance and sparkle over time. It will not cloud or dull with proper care.

Is moissanite graded in the same way as diamonds? 
Moissanite is not graded on the traditional 4 Cs (cut, color, clarity, carat) like diamonds. However, its quality is assessed based on color and clarity, with most moissanite being near-colorless or colorless.

Is moissanite suitable for engagement rings? 
Absolutely. Moissanite is an excellent choice for engagement rings thanks to its stunning brilliance, outstanding durability, and attractive affordability. It offers a beautiful and lasting alternative to traditional diamonds.

What materials are used in The Moissanite Lab’s jewelry? 
All of our jewelry is crafted from 925 sterling silver and double-plated with either rhodium and palladium or 18k gold for extra durability and a luxurious finish. All stones used are moissanite stones unless otherwise stated. 

How do I determine the correct ring size? 
If you’ve purchased from us before, you should have received a complimentary ring sizer with your order. You can also use our printable ring size guide on the website or visit a local jeweler for an accurate measurement.

Are your pieces suitable for daily wear? 
Absolutely. Our moissanite jewelry is designed for daily wear, thanks to the durability of both the stones and the 18k or rhodium-palladium-plated silver.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is free within Malaysia with no minimum spend. Please refer to our shipping policy for more details.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Delivery takes 2-3 business days for West Malaysia and 3-6 days for East Malaysia.

Can I get my order delivered urgently?
Need your order in a hurry for a special occasion? We’re here to help! For urgent orders within Klang Valley, we offer same-day delivery via Grab (delivery cost applies). Just let us know what you need, and we’ll do our best to make sure your gift arrives on time.

What if my order arrives damaged?

What is your return policy?
We do not offer refunds, but exchanges are allowed for defective products, out-of-stock items, or where we offer multiple sizes. Please check our exchange guidelines below to see if your item is eligible.

Can I exchange an item for a different size?
Yes, you can exchange for a different size within 7 days of delivery. Customers cover the cost of returning the item to us, and we’ll handle the redelivery of the new size.

What if I received the wrong product?
If you received the wrong item, just contact us by email or WhatsApp and we’ll fix it right away at no extra cost to you.
